Get Involved with the Davis Phinney Foundation
The Davis Phinney Foundation's (DPF) mission is to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson's disease today and in the future.
To accomplish this mission the DPF:
- Funds innovative and progressive research focused on exercise, speech and other quality of life therapies. Recent investments included the funding of a longitudinal multi-site trial to track the progression on quality of life. Sites in this trial include University of Utah, Boston University and Washington University.
- Hosts a national series of symposia – The Victory Summit™ – that focuses on the things people living with Parkinson's can do today to improve their lives.
- Has created the Every Victory Counts™ program for living well with Parkinson's – featuring a 232-page integrative self-care manual to help people manage their disease at all ages and stages, from diagnosis through long-term care.
Davis Phinney Foundation is a non-endowed 501 (c)(3) non-profit founded in 2004 by former Tour de France cyclist and Olympic Bronze medalist Davis Phinney. Visit www.davisphinneyfoundation.org for more information.
